Happy New Year!
I’ve been writing this blog for (almost) a full semester now, and so I have a couple of announcements to share with you before continuing on to another blessed year!
First, I want to express my thanks to everyone who has read my work, especially to those who have offered their time, support, and resources to help me gain ideas and improve my writing. This blog just recently reached 1000 total views, and I can’t thank you enough for helping me to share the truth of Christ with the world! Writing these posts has definitely not been easy, especially since this is my first real attempt at public writing, so thank you all for your continued support and encouragement. If you like this blog, please help me by sharing it with your friends!
Thank you also for your continued patience as I figure out my writing schedule. I apologize for the posts I had to release late, and I’m hoping to get ahead so I won’t have to do that in the future! My vocation as a student must still come before my writing, but I’m hoping that planning further ahead will cause the two to come into conflict less often.
Now onto the announcements!
First, you may have noticed that I have deviated from my original plan to loosely follow the narrative books of the Bible. While this plan gave me a good structure at first, I found that it ended up limiting my creativity and restricting me from writing what I felt called to share because those topics didn’t fit well into the structure. I’ll still be referencing the Bible quite a bit, but not in a strict order of events.
Second, I want to know more about you! I want to make my posts more relatable to the people who read them, so I created this short survey to help me to understand my audience better. It should only take a couple minutes, so please fill it out if you can!
Lastly, thank you for your prayers for all those at the SEEK24 conference! Thank you especially to all the people who supported those at the conference financially as well. It was an amazing experience to be among 22,000 other Catholics, especially during Mass and Adoration. There was an incredible wealth of grace poured out there, so much so that the lines for Confession were consistently longer than the lines for meals, and there were numerous hallway Confessions as well! If you weren’t able to go this year, you can still hear a ton of amazing talks for free at seekreplay.com (the desktop version is much better than the mobile version).
That’s all for now. I am praying for you all, and I hope you have a blessed new year!
